The Oklahoma Scholarship Fund:
The Oklahoma Scholarship Fund, a non-profit organization, is offering tuition grants for students in 2-8 grade to qualified families for the 2010/11 school year. If your student is awarded a tuition grant, The Oklahoma Scholarship Fund will pay one-half of your student's annual tuition, up to $2,000 per year, at the school of your choice within Oklahoma County. The scholarship is a three year commitment to you as long as eligibility requirements continue to be met. Application forms available in the school office.
CGSAA Track News:
The CGSAA track meet will be held Saturday, April 17th. Try-outs have begun and information will be sent home soon with those who have qualified for the meet. We are in need of volunteers to time the races. Rosary School is responsible for providing five timers in the morning and five timers in the afternoon. If we do not provide the volunteers, our school will be fined. PLEASE consider donating a morning or afternoon to this event! News from Becky:
ShareFest is an annual two-day event created to highlight and celebrate the ways our faith community touches the needs of our city. Our Parish & School will do several projects. There is something for everyone, whatever your skill level, age, and whatever amount of time you can give (2hours, 4 hours or all day!...and /or prepping for the event on Thurs and Fri for a few minutes that week) Please plan on rounding up your friends and family for this awesome day of serving the Lord in our community. This is an especially great activity for FAMILIES - all generations can join in the experience! A planning meeting will be next week and committee members main task will be to sign up volunteers after all the Masses and after school, and purchase supplies, line up work crews, etc. The meeting is NEXT Wednesday, March 10, at 6:30pm, in the Parish Hall - It should be less than an hour, and if you can't get a sitter, bring the Kids!!! Attention Grades 5-12: Saturday March 13 12:00-3:00.
March in the Annual St Patrick's Day Parade! "Go Green!" (The parade begins at 1 but Marchers will arrive at 12). Wear GREEN (your St Francis Youth Group T-shirt maybe?) Catholic Charities will provide Hats, Beads, Candy to Throw, etc! (Sign up with Aimee Majoue or Becky Hardin & you will receive a permission slip and info on where to meet, etc) Adults are NEEDED to help with this event, so PARENTS: come join the fun!!!!

Sunday, March 28 1:30- 4:30, St Baldrick's Celebration, VZD's 4200 N. Western. This is a fundraising event supporting Children's Cancer Research. People get their heads shaved (in solidarity with children who have lost their hair during Chemo) Check out the St Baldrick's Website for info Volunteers of all ages are needed to help. Rosary Student News:
A big thank you to Rosary School for donating over $1500 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Lenten can good collection has also begun. We have collected 29 jars of peanut butter and 18 jars of jelly. Thanks again for all your support! Rosary Service Club.
